Head of Product Management Edge Control (m/f/d)

Your job:

  • Global responsibility for the strategic conception, development and maintenance of the product portfolio of the Edge Control area (edge devices, control platform, motion control and applications) within the Electric Automation business unit over the complete life cycle
  • Disciplinary leadership and further development of the assigned team consisting of product managers and product owners as well as control of the technically assigned resources
  • Decision-making with regards to the product strategy for the assigned product portfolio and implementation of the global product roadmap for the Edge Control area - in line with the overall strategy of the Business Unit
  • Responsibility for the expansion and market growth of the Edge Control division (also with regard to sales, turnover and contribution margin)
  • Participation in the fulfilment of QCD parameters (manufacturing costs, quality and delivery capability of the products in the Edge Control area)
  • Central contact person for sales and technical areas on the topic of Edge Control
     

Your qualification:

  • Successfully completed technical studies, e.g. in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, technical informatics or a comparable degree
  • Good market knowledge and several years of experience in the field of control technology and servo drive technology in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in the technical and disciplinary management of teams
  • Fluent in German as well as English, both written and spoken 
  • High degree of self-motivation and persuasiveness
  • Analytical, conceptual skills as well as holistic, entrepreneurial way of thinking and market-oriented action
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills at all levels of a complex organisation as well as empathy, conflict management and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel (up to approx. 40% of working time)
