Summary of the job contents
Regional Workforce development (WD) / Digital Learning (DL) Business Driver EMEA Didactic is responsible for the business development of a specific business area for the sustained assurance and increase both of sales and market share.
Responsibility
- Connect and implement the global strategy for the respective business area for EMEA markets.
- Connect the EMEA business driver organisation WD/DL market perspective with the respective product lines in HQ including overlay sales organisation.
- Create, execute a Business Development plan together with the Cluster responsible to further develop WD and DL in EMEA.
- Actively support the EMEA local sales organisations with direct sales activities, including customer visits, negotiation with customers, conference participation sales roadshows.
- Actively connect Festo WD and digital solutions in our offerings on the local markets and with the Industrial Automation sales priorities.
- Collaborate with the EMEA local sales teams and regional management to develop accurate sales forecasts, revenue projections, and territory plans for WD and DL.
- Monitor sales pipeline, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement or potential risks.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics in the EMEA.
- Support of pricing strategies for WD and DL.
- Regular and close collaboration with diverse functional areas within the HQ.
Job Requirements
- University Degree in engineering or business studies (preferably in the field Mechatronics or Information Technology). Business development related work experience on these fields will be considered as an advantage.
- Proven track of experience of 3-5 years in establishment and maintenance of customer relationships on international level.
- Successful sales track record.
- Experience working in matrix organisation would be considered as a strong advantage.
- Local language excellence and fluent in English language (both written and verbal).
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact directly with broad range of customers.
- Relatively high level of regional business travel.
