Logistic Supervisor
Job Overview
Responsible the end to end logistic and production operation including materials management and purchasing, warehousing, inventory management, quality management, logistics and resource management with the goal to achieve quality, cost and delivery targets.
Job Description
· Material Management – Oversee material master maintenance, stock planning and purchasing within inter companies for all Festo parts.
· Purchasing – responsible for all local purchasing matters including vendor management, sourcing and purchasing related activities.
· Warehouse operation - Oversee end to end warehouse operation i.e. receiving, put away, storage, pick and pack for deliveries.
· Inventory Management – ensure proper inventory control for stock accuracy, scrapping, storage and accountability.
· Custom and Importation – Manage all import and custom clearance matters with custom agent and Custom authorities including preparation of documentation, ensuring due diligence and compliance in processing and declaration.
· Last Mile Delivery – Manage and coordinate last mile deliveries with service providers to ensure on completeness and on time delivery.
· Quality Management – responsible to drive quality culture and system in logistic operation to achieve high level of quality standards to our customers.
· Cost Management – ensure efficient resource and capacity planning to optimize productivity and overall cost efficient in logistic.
· Operation Excellence – lead and drive OPEX system and continuous improvement initiatives through shopfloor management routines.
· Performance Management - overall responsible for quality, cost and delivery KPIs.
· Perform designated roles in Safety and Compliance.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering), logistic or supply chain management
· Min. 5 years progressive experience in similar position, preferably in manufacturing, logistic or supply chain industry
· Resourceful, self-motivated, able to thrive in a fast moving and uncertain environment, autonomous problem-solving ability
· Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skill
· Good in written and verbal English
· Proficient in MS offices and SAP
· Good people management skill
· Good experience and proficiency in lean manufacturing and methodology
