Automation Sales Engineer
Job Overview
Responsible for Develop and manage the relationship between Festo and designated accounts which belong to Food through specific application knowledge. This is to maximise and secure profitable sales of Festo products and services.
Job Description
• Developing trust relationship with a portfolio / major client to ensure they do not turn to competition
• Expanding and build strong the relationship with existing customer / new market for Food – project based category (SI/ContractorMEA/OEM)
• Effectively handles the assigned customers through consultative selling of products and deep knowledge of applications and customer processes
• Responsible for customer visit planning, quotation follow up, using existing tools for monitoring, documentation and classification
• Accountable for immediate solutions of all pending issue in his portfolio, including block orders, aging receivables and other issues within his authority related to sales and escalating to the ISM Food when necessary.
• Analyses the market to search for new potential customers
• Defines pricing according to customer situation in coordination with ISS Food
• Main contact to customer and initiates team selling in case of complex projects
• Responsible for the achievement of the agreed sales targets (budget etc.) acc. to his industry specific customer portfolio
• Collects specific product requirements of Food and gives input to Food Team
• Applies typical product baskets to customer specification lists
• Develop his product and technical skill independently from time to time using available channel or materials
Job Requirements
•Has experience in a specific industry segment through sales projects with customers, focusing on market dynamics, application knowledge, and customer trends. Understanding the needs of customers in the palm oil industry is an advantage.
• Experience in sales and providing solution based on customer needs
• Resourceful, self motivated, able to thrive in a fast moving and uncertain environment, autonomous problem solving ability
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skill, Good in English, Computer literate
• Self-driven and self-motivation, able to work under pressure
