Expert Grinding Technology (m/f/d)

Your job:

• Design and development of grinding processes (definition of process and dressing parameters)
• Optimization of existing grinding processes with regard to quality, performance and costs
• Development/elaboration of machine and clamping concepts
• Evaluation of machine and system concepts with regard to cost, performance and quality aspects 
• Estimation of the required process times for the production of new products
• Active collaboration within an existing interdisciplinary team
• Independent identification and solution of manufacturing and quality problems

Your qualification:

• Successfully completed training as machining specialist, industrial mechanic/fine mechanic or comparable qualification, ideally technician training or further training as engineer
• Several years of experience in a similar or comparable function with sound machining knowledge in series production
• Several years (at least 3 years) of professional experience in machining with focus on surface/profile grinding in series production
• Knowledge of grinding wheel conditioning and grinding burn desirable
• Good knowledge of German and English desirable
• Experience in the technical management of teams desirable
• High degree of quality awareness, reliability and sense of responsibility
• Assertiveness, communication and decision-making skills as well as flexibility and ability to work under pressure
