Your Job:
- Working in an interdisciplinary team which is responsible for the development of electric motors, actuators and their components under consideration of the related design standards, quality and cost requirements.
- Carrying out development measurements for new projects - motors, actuators, brakes, encoders, etc.
- Development/expansion of Measurement Setups in compliance with the internal requirements, product specifications and good practices.
- Developing automation software in NI LabVIEW and Test Stand for the Measurement Setups.
- Analysing test results in MATLAB or Excel and making reports (Word/PDF) about the tested object(s). Presenting the reports to the relevant Mechanical/Electrical developers and/or project stakeholders.
- Support of the efficient industrialization of the testing concept (hardware and software) in Production.
- Coordination with internal and external development partners.
Technical Competences and Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in the field of Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Automation engineering.
- Related experience or scientific background in development/measurements of electrical machines (motors, generators or transformers) is a major advantage.
- Experience with Servo motor controllers, Stepper motor controllers, Variable frequency drives or similar is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience in Computer programming is mandatory.
- Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW, National Instruments Test Stand and MATLAB are considered as a strong advantage.
- Very good knowledge of MS OFFICE - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and professional experience with measurement tools.
- Experience with programmatic control of measurement equipment and control hardware (e.g. PLCs) is considered an advantage.
- Experience in Production environment will be considered as a plus.
- Good knowledge of English language (level B2 or higher, electrical and mechanical terminology). Knowledge of German language is an advantage.
