Automation Software Engineer - Valve terminals
Your Job:

- Playing a key role in qualification and validation of valve terminals over different industrial communication protocols.
- Perform system-level integration tests and evaluate the functional behavior of software and hardware components.
- Participate in the design, creation and development of automated test environment.
- Being responsible for complete test cycle - test design, test specification, execution and test report.
- Working with ALM system – test cases and defects maintenance.
- Taking part in workshops, trainings and know how exchange with the colleagues worldwide.
- Working in an interdisciplinary, international, and agile product team.
Technical Competencies and Requirements:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Industrial automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science Electronics, etc.;
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Professional Competencies and Requirements:
- Programming skills in Python (knowledge in C # /. Net is an advantage).
- Basic knowledge in communication, monitoring and logging (e.g. wireshark, GitHub).
- Experience in one of the fieldbus protocols – EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP.
- Developing, debugging, and maintaining automated test sequences in NI TestStand – is considered as an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with analog and digital electronic circuits, including real‑world system behavior, with the ability to read and troubleshoot electronic schematics is a plus.
- Basic knowledge in product Security and Safety protocols (e.g. Profisafe, FSoE und CIP Safety)– is considered as an advantage.
