QEHS Engineer

Job Summary:

The QHSE Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety (QEHS) management systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves quality assurance and control, document control, conducting audits, risk assessments, and ensuring continuous improvement within the operations to improve QEHS performance across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QEHS policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.
  • Regularly review and update QHSE documentation.
  • Establish and implement quality control plan, metrology control and CAPA.
  • Define acceptance criteria, selection of measurement methods and control release of production output.
  • Report and solve issues related to process deviations and defects in finished goods.
  • Conduct, analyse & report incident investigations, and oversee corrective and preventive measures.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QEHS standards.
  • Prepare for and coordinate external audits from regulatory bodies and certification agencies.
  • Track and report on QHSE performance metrics.
  • Identify and assess potential risks to health, safety, and the environment.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and deliver QEHS training programs for employees.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in any Engineering discipline or related field
  • Good working knowledge in ISO9001, 14001, 45001 standards
  • Min. 5 years experiences in manufacturing, logistic and sales environment
  • Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis tools
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher, or LEAN (preferred)
  • Lead teams with diverse background to perform investigations
  • Clear understanding of environment and safety regulations
  • Able to provide leadership in health and safety management, including fire safety
  • Registered WSH Officer or FSM advantageous
  • Knowledge in Quality data analytics
  • Work under limited supervision for non-routine situations
  • Resolve conflicts at work related to QEHS matters
  • Able to communicate and present to stakeholders at various levels
