Key Responsibilities

Follow the established procedures and guidelines to produce various types of products according to the production specifications, schedules, safety and quality standards.Follow the established procedures and guidelines to produce various types of products according to the production specifications, schedules, safety and quality standards.

 

Machining & Production:

  • Operate machines (lathe, sawing, CNC, etc.) to produce precision parts.

  • Set up, adjust, and monitor machining processes.

  • Read drawings and use precision instruments (e.g. micrometres, Vernier calipers) for measurements.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.

  • Support fabrication, assembly, inspection, and testing of Special Application (SA) products.

Assembly & Testing:

  • Assemble pneumatic and electric drives.

  • Perform functional testing in line with Festo standards.

Other Duties:

  • Maintain workplace cleanliness (5S), handle raw materials, and support general shop operations.

  • Assist with documentation such as work procedures and instructions.

  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school qualification or equivalent.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a metal machining workshop.

  • Proficient in operating machining tools such as lathe, saw, burnishing, and CNC machines.

  • Able to read technical drawings, blueprints, and use precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometres, Vernier calipers)

  • Knowledge of routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Good command of English and basic computer literacy.

  • A team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.

  • Willingness to work extended hours when required.
