Automation Sales Engineer (In-house)

Responsible for providing ongoing support to high value clients and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts.Responsible for providing ongoing support to high value clients and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts.

Job Description:

  • Works closely with ELA Sales Manager to develop individual customer roadmap and action items that focus on key needs
  • Responsible for actively identifying, negotiating and maximizing new business opportunities.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of key customer including providing quotation, ordering and resolving complex customer issues.
  • Regular visits to targeted customers to build rapport and attend to enquiries.
  • Attends to product complaints and suggestions from customers
  • Shares and imparts technical knowledge, skills and experience to customers by providing technical consultation
  • Other duties assigned by ELA Sales Manager

 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong background in sales support function.
  • Proficient in handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of automation products and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
  • Experience in identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate automation solutions.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competition to stay updated on market developments.
