Direct report to Sales Manager_Festo Korea

The Head of Sales Channels(Distributor Sales) need to achieve market share increase and defined sales target & productivity by developing mid & long-term channel & sales strategy and short-term sales action plan as well as by leading best fitting operation with sales channel team continuously to fit dynamic market environment.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for achieving market share increase and defined sales target & productivity by leading best fitting operation with sales channels team continuously to fit dynamic market environment.
  • Build the strategy for the indirect business, including working with the partner ecosystem to leverage our sales and support, consult and service partners to increase share of wallet with co-strategies, as well as build out our developer community.
  • Lead growth of market share & strategic target (budget, margin, productivity) by developing mid & long-term sales strategy and by driving into team level & cross-functional level with proper measures in accordance with country/global strategies & direction.
  • Achieve the defined sales performance by reviewing key figures compared verified forecast(opportunities) and by make-up plan to improve lower figures.
  • Drive and implement the local oriented sales channel model aligned with corporate strategies (each sales channel aligned price, product) as well as differentiated operating unlike competitors.
  • Drive the process/system improvement to achieve customer satisfaction and sales efficiency effectively with related functions.
  • Drive and implement holistic distribution development program to change company’s foundation toward strengthening of competitiveness and differentiation model across of other channels to fit for new industrial paradigm and higher customer expectation.
  • Motivate and influence proactiveness and teamwork constructively not only team but also related functions to be one team/target.
  • Develop and nurture C-Level B2B relationship & trust with our partners and customers

 

Educational Background

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronics engineering

 

Experiences/Requirements

 

  • At least 10 years of relevant sales or management or budget responsibility experience in automation industry
  • Working knowledge/experience of channel strategy and management about channel ecosystem
  • Strong level of financial acumen, strategic thinking skill for business discussions
  • Hands-on style of leadership in business with at least 5 years people manager experience
  • Organizational & planning skill based on own strategy.
  • Goal & Performance orientation
  • Good communication and negotiation Skills
  • Highly adaptable to changes in business direction
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficient in English (especially, speaking and writing)
