Electric Actuator PMM

Role Overview

As a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for Electric Actuators at Festo Korea, you will be responsible for implementing localized product strategies aligned with global directives to drive sales growth and maximize profitability. Acting as a critical link between the market, sales teams, and global headquarters, you will shape and execute a customer-focused product strategy. In this role, you will also lead strategic business development efforts, ensuring the long-term success and competitiveness of your product line.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement local product strategies aligned with global product direction to enhance market positioning.
  • Manage the entire E-actuator product portfolio, including both standard and localized solutions tailored to domestic market needs.
  • Develop and execute competitive pricing strategies in collaboration with the Sales team & Strategic Marketing team to optimize profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic planning with other function together.
  • Work with Online Business & Marketing Communication team to support new product promotion activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the Supply Chain Management team to ensure optimal stock availability for competitive lead times.
  • Collaborate with Headquarters stakeholders to align on strategic initiatives and adapt global strategies to local needs.
  • Maintain continuous communication with Sales, Customers, and Application Engineers to drive product strategy and business expansion.
  • Engage with third-party suppliers when necessary to enhance the market-oriented product offering.
  • Analyze market trends and contribute to agile portfolio strategies for emerging business areas.
  • Support the full product lifecycle management process to maximize long-term profitability.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in the industrial automation field
  • Strong understanding of the automation and motion control market
  • Proven ability to assess product-market fit and business feasibility
  • Hands-on experience in business development and technical sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, to clearly communicate with global stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience of working as Product Marketing Manager
  • Proven expertise in business development strategic planning for industrial automation
  • Comprehensive industrial automation knowledge, including mechanics, electronics and software.
