EA BDM Distributor

Purpose / Mission

Summarizing the main objectives of the Position

Develop New EA distributors to drive a volume business and establish/implement the EA strategy to develop EA Business opportunity by themselves.

Drive continuous competence development of targeted EA distributors based on the industrial trend and product portfolio

 

Key Accountabilities

Impact on Business (i.e. business contribution, nature and scope of responsibility, risk and financial management, strategic/tactical/operative responsibility)

  • Secure/qualify the new and right distributor/partner to expand the EA market coverage.
  • Develop the strategy of How to approach EA to make a volume business by themselves for sustainable growth.
  • Develop md/long-term business strategy of EA distributor to achieve a business goal.

Innovation and Change (i.e. range and diversity of activities, problems, processes, market dynamics and management challenges that need to be recognized and resolved, improvement of processes, systems or products)

  • Identify EA market trend to contribute agile business development strategy.
  • Drive continuous competence development of targeted EA distributors based on the industrial trend and product portfolio.
  • Provide customized products portfolio for targeted EA distributors reflecting their own business boundary/
  • Define the service level of EA product/business to meet a market expectation and drive the initiative of it

 

Communication with internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties (indicate nature and context of client relationship and service delivery, required communication skills, frequency of communication (i.e. infrequent =few times a year, occasional= few times a month, frequent= regular but not daily, continuous= daily)

  • Closely working with Head of Sales channel to align strategic direction regularly and to implement the strategy.
  • Closely work with distributors to understand their needs and to motivate/coach them toward strategic growth.
  • Frequent alignment with Head of EA for product portfolio strategy, consolidated product/technology needs escalation
  • Develop a network with main players in Electric automation field to remain the market information up to date.

People Leadership (i.e. management, motivation and development of staff as well as teamwork)

  • Motivate internal stakeholders and distributors in carrying out business strategies and lead an agreement to be aligned.

 

Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronic, Mechatronics engineering, Industrial engineering or computer science
  • At least 8 years of relevant business experience in industry automation necessary
  • Deep understanding of Electric Automation market (PLC, Servo, Electric actuator)
  • Business development experience and sales experience in channel business
  • Problem solving, time management, prioritization and aware of business and finance implications.
  • Computer literate with an excellent working knowledge /understanding of Microsoft Office 
  • Good at verbal and written English 
  • Good communication Skill
