Direct report to Head of Finance/IT, Cluster North Asia

Purpose

Effectively manage and oversee the accounts payable process within an organization and provide accurate and legally compliant financial information to internal and external users.

Process and record all incoming invoices and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations in the accounts payable process to ensure accuracy of AP control in timely manner.

Monitor and control expenses related to accounts payable, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

• Support accurate financial records and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Verify and ensure that all expenses are accurately reviewed and allocated to the correct accounts and cost centers to achieve precise financial
• Receive and verify invoices, ensuring their accuracy, proper authorization, and alignment with purchase orders or contractual agreements.
• Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors and employees, adhering to payment terms and guaranteeing payment accuracy on scheduled dates
• Maintain accurate and well-organized records of all accounts payable transactions and documentation.
• Regularly reconcile accounts payable balances with NTS data and resolve any discrepancies.
• Perform accurate and timely reconciliation of inter-company transactions for payables with affiliated companies.
• Conduct purchase VAT accounts reconciliation and handle VAT reporting.
• Provide regular reports on actual expense analysis to aid in budget management.
• Review and approve accounting information related to PR creation through ARIBA

Educational Background

• University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration are preferred.

Experiences/Requirements

• 2-5 years experience in accounting
• Excellent communication skill
• Exposure to Business/Data Analytics is a plus
• Global company’s development program experience is a plus
• Working experience with people from diverse culture
