Senior .Net Software Developer - Engineering Software

Your job:
•    Design and develop a high-quality application software in the field of automation technology used for commissioning, parameterization and programming of electrical servo drives, PLC systems and remote I/Os.
•    Participate in system design and software architecture development.
•    Ensure the implementation, integration, testing and deploying of the software that follows the DevOps principles.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional international teams.
•    Continuously enhance and seek out methods and tools and actively acquire new knowledge.
•    Act as coach for the developer team as a technical lead.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:
•    Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable qualification.
•    Excellent written and spoken English.
•    German language skills are an advantage.

Professional Competencies and Requirements:
•    5+ years proven expertise as a full-stack developer in Microsoft .NET (C#, WPF) and in the development of modular, platform-independent software systems.
•    Good knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented software development and design patterns like MVVM and experience in the design of programming interfaces (e.g., REST API).
•    Experience in the use of ALM tools and version control (GIT).
•    Experience in agile software development methods, e.g., SCRUM.
•    Experience in the development of engineering software or application development in an industrial environment as well as in software development for embedded devices shall be considered as an advantage.
•    Security best practices knowledge considered as an advantage.
