IT Technical Team Lead Basic Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Your job:

  • Technical leadership of the international product team Basic Infrastructure
  • Ensuring efficient and stable 24x7 infrastructure operations
  • Strategic further development of the global hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Operation of the German Festo data centers in compliance with defined service levels
  • Ensuring compliance of our globally distributed Festo data centers
  • Customer-oriented requirements management in an agile team
  • Innovative further development of existing automation approaches
  • Cost-conscious license and maintenance management
     

Your qualification:

  • Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
  • Experience in the functional management of internationally distributed team members
  • Proven track record in the implementation of infrastructure projects and in the creation of IT infrastructure concepts
  • Very good knowledge of infrastructure solutions (VMware, vSphere, IBM SVC, Netapp Ontap, Ctera Fileservices, Veeam, Commvault or comparable technologies)
  • Experienced use of common automation technologies (Terraform, Flowster, Ansible, PowerShell, Python)
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Strong hands-on mentality, communication and presentation skills as well as high initiative and enjoy working in international teams
