IT Product Owner Application Lifecycle Management (m/f/d)

As Product Owner Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) you are responsible for the ALM solutions at Festo, consisting of PTC CodeBeamer, Gitlab, Artifactory and other tools.
Together with an international team, which you will lead technically, you will provide the technical basis for all software development activities at Festo.
As part of Festo Global IT, entrepreneurial thinking and action is important to you.

 

Your job:

  • Design, implementation and continuous improvement of the global ALM solutions in collaboration with internal process experts
  • Integration of processes and applications for requirements management, test management, system modeling and risk management into a holistic ALM solution
  • Support of the ALM application portfolio as well as contact person for software suppliers
  • Independent collection and analysis of requirements from business processes and consulting for their implementation in the global ALM solution
  • Development and implementation of ALM processes for Global IT
  • Management of international projects
     

Your qualification:

  • Successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable qualification
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in the area of application lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and related methodologies
  • Strong understanding of ALM processes and relevant information flows as well as solid experience in integrating ALM processes and common IT interfaces
  • Excellent knowledge of ALM tools such as PTC Codebeamer, Gitlab, and comparable solutions
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Analytical thinking, confident appearance and comprehensive communication and presentation skills
