Expert Machining Technologies GPC Scharnhausen (m/f/d)

Your Job:

  • Independent management of projects for the implementation of new technologies and processes
  • Responsibility for the creation and coordination of specifications and functional specifications as well as carrying out machine acceptance tests and training courses
  • Analyzing existing and designing new production processes/manufacturing sequences and procedures to increase efficiency and quality
  • Analyzing new processes and technologies based on specialist literature, trade fair visits and contacts with institutes and universities 
  • Identifying potential for improvement and carrying out profitability calculations
  • Contact person for development and design to optimize production-oriented drawings
  • Clarification of technical problems and technological advice for our employees in the production environment
  • Project planning for new production facilities, combined with proof of cost-effectiveness
  • Rationalization of the use of resources to reduce costs and protect the environment

 

Your qualification:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical/industrial engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in industrial engineering in the field of machining and project management
  • Experience with methods for process analysis and improvement, such as Lean Production or Six Sigma
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of machining manufacturing to understand and optimize production processes 
  • In-depth knowledge of modern manufacturing technologies and processes
  • Knowledge of statistics and data analysis for the evaluation of production data and identification of critical processes
  • Knowledge in the analysis of cost structures
  • Good knowledge of German and English 
  • Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as a proactive demeanor
