Digital Marketing Specialist - Temporary

Marketing Campaigns Specialist (18-month Contract – Maternity Leave Replacement) 
Mississauga, Ontario

Reports to: Head of Marketing, North America 

 

Summary: The Marketing Campaigns Specialist has the responsibility to create strategies and 
execute the North American marketing activity plan for assigned campaigns based upon input 
from relevant stakeholders and the Campaigns Center of Excellence Team Leader. This role also 
assists in the implementation of the North American media relations plan and supports in the 
execution of exhibitions and events. 

 

Location: Mississauga 

 

Travel Expectation: 10% 

 

Duties of this Job Include: 

  • Develop campaign strategies and activities with a digital first philosophy to fit our omnichannel approach 
  • Focus on developing specific customer journeys and content mapping to enhance overall customer experiences 
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels such as content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event integration, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, and copy writing 
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution 
  • Drive campaign execution and project management through collaboration with internal marketing team, agencies and key cross-functional partners including Sales and Distributor network within a hybrid environment 
  • Keep abreast of industry changes, developments, analyze market trends, as well as competitor, association, and distributor activities to maximize growth opportunities with campaign strategies 
  • Report on performance measurement of campaign objectives through SMART KPIs, campaign monitoring, and provide insights with focus on continuous improvement based on in-depth analysis 
  • Coordinate execution of campaigns and activities for French-Canadian market 
  • Support execution of press and advertising plan 
  • Support and integrate campaign messages into North American exhibition strategy 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven manufacturing, industry, or automation marketing experience in a B2B environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field 
  • Experience with strategic development, implementation and execution of marketing campaigns and activities using online and offline channels 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams) 
  • Experience in extracting and presenting data in a meaningful and empowering manner (utilizing PowerPoint and Excel) 
  • Experience with Marketing Automation (Oracle Eloqua) is an asset 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening) 
  • Excellent client service skills 
  • Collaborative mentality with the ability to build relationships and inspire teamwork 
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to quickly adapt and change to a continuously evolving market 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with quality and efficiency 
  • Ability to focus on deadline and deliverables 
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset 
  • Enjoys working in a hybrid work environment (2 days remote and 3 days in office)
