Sr. Quality Engineer - Product Development

JOB DUTIES:  Work closely with project management, development, production and purchasing to monitor the execution and compliance of all quality aspects and define quality measures; design to quality based on input of known internal and external problems; assurance of quality goals and coordination and support of S-/D-/P-FMEA activities; definition of critical characteristics in technical documentation; assurance, validation, and verification of the Control Plan as well creation of the Q-test framework; maturity management  through neutral appraisal of Q-Gates; definition of test device processes in the control plan; monitoring of problem and failure analyses in pilot and start of production; consistent error clearing process in NEP (8D method); assessment of Q capabilities of products and manufacturing processes using VDA 6.3 project audits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or related technical field, plus five years of experience in an engineering-based quality role, including experience with quality assurance standards/protocols and audit management systems, as well as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. This position requires little domestic and international travel.

                                                          SALARY:  $120,432.00 per year
