Business Development Specialist - Ball Screws

Summary of role: The main objectives of the position involve driving sales growth for Electric Automation products with a specific focus on ball screws by developing and implementing effective market strategies, analyzing customer and competitor dynamics, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. This role is closely linked to the corporate strategy of enhancing market presence and competitiveness, ensuring that product offerings align with customer needs and contribute to overall business success.



Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible in EA Business Development for the sales development of standard ballscrews in the global market, although depending on maturity other EA products could also be a focus in the future
  • Removing the barriers to selling EA
  • Responsible for feedback from the clusters and ISMs towards the Business Unit in relevant product and market areas.
  • Development and implementation of various strategies related to products and processes regarding the sales of Electric Automation products.
  • Responsible along with product management for creating and communicating go-to-market strategies for EA products
  • Monitoring and constant analysis of market, customer needs and competitors, with a special focus on the market in the Americas
  • Cross-Functional collaboration with other departments and active collaboration with sales management

 

Knowledge & Experience: 

  • University degree with technical/engineering focus ideally combined with economy/business
  • Well proven expertise with several years’ experience in presales and sales activities in electronic automation products or electromechanical products as well as business models and about the ecosystem of partners and competitors.
  • Great interpersonal skills as you will work with various stakeholders
  • Open minded and Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented
  • Fluent in English, a knowledge of the German language would be advantageous
