Engineering Intern - Software

Key Accountabilities:

  • Our Research Hub Boston at Festo is currently seeking for an enthusiastic Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering major who can start work for about 6 months.
  • As a Co-Op you will provide support in design and implementation of a deep learning platform to be integrated into a test stand of a microfluidic application.
  • Research and update on latest available APIs software packages and libraries relevant to the embedded, software/ML solutions being developed.
  • Participate in the cross-discipline design process for system design, combining your skills with HW and SW team members to arrive at integrated effective system designs.

 

Required Experience:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to use statistical tools and techniques.
  • Comfortable with supporting in data preparation and creation of Machine Learning models, Object Oriented Programming.
