About the Job
Ensure effective and timely execution, coordination and managing of Customs clearances operation and all logistics tasks related to inbound logistics, storage, delivery and reverse logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Impact on Business
- Handling Inbound / Outbound logistics including:
- Liaising with Festo CO person in charge for the delivery
- Preparation of shipping documentations and coordination with the relevant agencies and service providers to ensure timely import/export clearance.
- Ensure compliance with import requirement in terms of documentation, HS code verification and declaration
- Custom clearance through industrial zone (free trade zone)
- Coordinating with service providers for all delivery in terms of providing correct documentation, efficient scheduling/routing and striving for on time delivery
- Documentation and control of material in the local store according to Festo stock management standards
- Logistic admin including verification and processing logistic documentation
- Create Purchase order for local and festo parts
- To perform any logistic task/projects as required
Innovation and Change
- Adherence to local standard procedures i.e ISO procedures
- Drive to change on daily work and functional operation as CIP
Communication with internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties
- Continuous coordination/communication with internal stakesholders for order fulfilment matters
- Continuous communication with external service providers (Custom broker, transporter etc) to ensure service delivery on time and in compliant to regulation and requirement
- Frequent communication with regulatory bodies (Custom, Tax) to ensure documentation and requirement are in compliance with regulation.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma and above
- Minimum 2 years of relevant business experiences (Logistic / Import-Export process)
- Good in spoken and written English
- Listening and communication skill: active listening and communicate constructively and clearly.
- Organize work: Able to delivers result in time manner with efficient way. Know how to set the priorities of work
- Motivated individual with strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Problem solving: Identify and define the issue, offer suitable solutions to Strategic customer according to the process
- Teamwork: Collaboration within the team, and others department to find out the best solution and service to customers.
- Logical thinking: Always looks for improvement and ask the question if unclear.
- Open mind thinking: Sees the entire customer (key account) and understands the customer structures.
- Software Knowledge: SAP, Microsoft Office
