Test Manager - Software Electrical Drive Controller (m/f/d)

Your Job:

  • Responsibility for testing a software platform and its interactions with electric drive controllers to ensure stable and reliable products
  • Technical management of an international team of software testers and promotion of a culture of cooperation and responsibility within the team
  • Developing and implementing the test strategy and creating and monitoring detailed test plans (including the associated schedules and resource plans)
  • Managing the entire test cycle from preparation to completion
  • Ensuring that all tests meet our high quality standards
  • Communicating with the relevant stakeholders regarding progress, results and challenges of the responsible tests
  • Cross-departmental collaboration with project managers, developers, product and quality managers and other test teams 
  • Ensuring the continuous improvement of test processes and methods

 

Your qualification:

  • Completed studies in software engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of study
  • Sound experience in software testing in the field of electrical automation or related technical industries 
  • ISTQB certification Foundation Level, ideally also ISTQB certification Test Manager Level 
  • Experience in leading international project teams and experience in risk management
  • Experience with embedded systems as well as experience with test tools, black box tests and regression tests etc.
  • Know-how in dealing with products such as microcontrollers, sensors, actuators and knowledge of communication protocols such as Ethernet and Profinet
  • Good written and spoken German and English (at least B2 level)
  • Methodical, structured way of working, strong communication and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team
