Your job:
- Focus on strategic international purchasing of hardware, software and IT services.
- Analyze global procurement markets and proactively develop new procurement sources and alternatives
- Optimizing and managing the global supplier portfolio in terms of cost, quality and supply
- Supporting the development and targeted implementation of a global supplier and purchasing strategy in the commodity group in charge, which takes into account the specific risks of software in particular
- Independently conduct results-oriented price and contract negotiations in order to systematically exploit cost reduction potential (tenders and auctions)
- Advising and supporting our IT departments in all matters relating to contracts and tenders as well as price negotiations for hardware, software and IT services
- Contribute to the implementation of appropriate IT procurement guidelines together with our IT department, as well as optimization and further development of operational purchasing processes
- Supporting the expansion of international IT purchasing activities and the international IT purchasing network
- Intensify global cooperation with internal departments
Your quaflification:
- Successfully completed studies in business administration, business informatics or comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in strategic procurement management as an IT purchaser for hardware/software and IT services or as an IT project manager with comparable responsibilities
- Very good knowledge of future-oriented topics in the IT environment (e.g., complex license types/metrics, cloud models, digitalization, digital business, proven experience in risk management in the procurement of software) and relevant guidelines/legal frameworks, as well as contract models in the IT environment are mandatory
- Experience in negotiating, drafting and designing IT contract content (commercial and legal).
- Solid project management and SAP skills are required
- Fluent negotiation skills in English
- High degree of discipline, problem-solving or persuasiveness, as well as assertiveness and critical thinking skills
- Negotiation skills and very good communication skills combined with the necessary diplomacy and a cost-conscious and result-oriented way of working
- Your working style is also characterized by a high level of structure, analytical ability, strategic thinking, discipline and initiative, as well as the necessary understanding and personal attitude for a service-oriented cross-sectional function
