Specialist Global Finance Processes (m/f/d)

Your job:

• Responsibility for the definition and implementation of measures for the standardization, implementation and further development of financial processes with a focus on the end-to-end processes record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay as well as the monthly closing and financial reporting
• Steering automation initiatives within the core processes and systems
• Improving system functions (including SAP S4/HANA, Invoice Track) to increase process efficiencies 
• Presentation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the efficiency of financial processes and continuous improvement
• Define and document standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization
• Working closely with various functions in HQ (e.g. Finance, Purchasing, Sales, IT), the Festo country organizations and the Finance Shared Service Centers
• Leading projects and sub-projects for the implementation of new processes, system upgrades and enhancements within the finance organization

Your qualification:

• Successfully completed studies in economics or a similar degree program 
• Relevant and several years of professional experience in the financial environment as well as a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
• High IT affinity and sound knowledge of SAP (S4/HANA)
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and Power BI is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, also in an international environment
• Analytical, structured and independent way of working
• Holistic thinking and acting as well as a high level of initiative
