Simulation engineer for model-based product development (m/f/d)

Your job:

  • Dynamic, multi-physical modeling of mechatronic products for concept validation and optimization of product designs using Modelica
  • Closely linking the system models with field-based structural-mechanical, thermal and fluidic analyses
  • Carrying out validations to ensure model accuracy
  • Contributing to the model-based product development strategy for the effective integration of simulation into the entire product life cycle
  • Conducting training and collaborating in global development teams

 

Your qualification:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of computational engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field
  • Several years of experience in model-based development in the product life cycle (PLM)
  • Several years of experience with simulation methods such as FEM, CFD, thermal simulation and Ansys
  • Very good knowledge of modeling mechatronic systems, ideally using Modelica
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • High level of system understanding and ability to analyze complex technical problems
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as intercultural competence
