Security Expert Embedded Software (m/f/d)

Your job: 

• Developing and maintaining real-time capable software for embedded systems in C and C++ with a focus on industrial communication systems 
• Development of concepts/specifications for the implementation of security functions in electrical automation products 
• Working closely with product management and system architects on concept development 
• Ensure adherence to the development process and support the project team in the implementation of security specific topics
• Perform specification and code reviews 
• Collaboration with the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) in identifying vulnerabilities in own area of responsibility 

Your qualification: 

• Successfully completed university studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable qualification 
• Several years of experience in the creation of secure embedded software for real-time applications object-oriented in C++ 
• High affinity for cyber security and knowledge of relevant cyber security standards such as IEC62443-4-1 and IEC62443-4-2 
• High awareness of software quality and testability 
• Knowledge of Python for the application of frameworks for automated testing 
• Experience in requirements and systems engineering 
• Ideally, experience in modeling data flow diagrams and performing threat-and-risk analysis  
• Basic knowledge of common industrial communication solutions such as EtherCAT, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP is an advantage 
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Very good team and communication skills
