Security Architect Embedded Software (m/f/d)

Your job:

• Analyzing security threats and risks for existing and new products and proposing changes to their architecture throughout the whole product lifecycle
• Developing and maintaining concepts and deriving requirements for embedded systems with focus on security in industrial communication systems and automation systems
• Performing specification and code reviews 
• Working closely with product management and system architects to improve the security features of new concepts and supporting project teams in the implementation of security-specific topics
• Communication with the Product Security Officer, the security experts in the central departments and decision-makers as well as with external service providers and consultants
• Collaboration with the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) to identify, document and address vulnerabilities
• Raising employee awareness about security compliance through training, consulting and fostering a culture of security within the team 

Your qualification:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, information security, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• High affinity for cyber security and desire to learn more in this area; optional specialization and certifications in the field of cyber security, including advanced knowledge of the Security Development Lifecycle and requirements (IEC62443-4-1 and IEC62443-4-2)
• Experience in modeling data flow diagrams and performing threat and risk analysis; experience with penetration testing would also be an advantage
• High awareness of software quality and testability; preferably also proven experience in creating secure embedded software for real-time applications in object-oriented C++
• Optionally also basic knowledge of common industrial communication solutions such as EtherCAT, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP
• Very good communication skills in German and English
• High level of initiative, strong communication and presentation skills and enjoy working in international teams
