Safety Expert Software Development Processes (m/f/d)

Your job:

• Definition of processes for the execution of safety-oriented development activities in the embedded & application software environment and their synchronisation with other corporate areas
• Development and provision of methods for achieving, proving and maintaining safety levels in the software environment with experts from the specialist departments
• Validation of tools for determining, calculating and transforming safety-related information
• Definition of framework conditions for the use of development tools in the software environment
• Festo-specific consulting and training on functional safety with a focus on software development
• Interpretation of functional safety standards, active design in national/international standardisation committees

Your qualification:

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the development of software in various programming and scripting languages in FVL and LVL and various programming paradigms
• Additional qualification and experience in the development of embedded software in the context of functional safety according to IEC 61508 required
• Basic experience in the use of tools for modelling software with UML
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Structured and results-oriented way of working with a high degree of self-organisation
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
