Product Manager AI Electric Automation (m/f/d))
Your job:
- Responsibility for the integration of modern algorithms from fields such as artificial intelligence and large language models into the products of the Edge Control division within our Electric Automation business unit
- Monitoring technological developments and continuously checking for possible fields of application in the automation of machines
- Carrying out competitive observations and benchmarks
- Carrying out a customer analysis and developing an understanding of customer requirements and innovation potential in close coordination with colleagues in the sales areas/clusters
- Developing and presenting proposals for implementing the roll-out of software products and driving decision-making in this area
- Responsibility for the product backlog, development of demonstrators and implementation of solutions
- Close coordination with sales and development, as central contact person for Advanced Algorithms for Control
Your qualification:
- Completed technical studies, e.g. in the field of computer engineering or control/automation/control engineering
- Several years of professional experience in product management/sales, ideally also professional experience in development/research or application development
- Knowledge of the market and technology in the field of control technology in mechanical engineering as well as a good understanding of technological feasibility in this environment
- Basic knowledge of AI/Large Language Models and ideally also agile software development
- Fluent communication skills in English and German
- High level of self-motivation and perseverance
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as holistic thinking
