Head of Intellectual Property (m/f/d)
Your job:
- Responsible for the organizational, technological, human resources and most importantly strategic development of the international Intellectual Property team
- Use the creative freedom to define and further develop our global IP strategy and processes
- Strengthening, defending and maintaining our brand worldwide
- Ensuring freedom of action through proactive IP management and monitoring and evaluation of competitors
- Participating and conducting opposition, nullity, and patent infringement proceedings, together with internal and external patent and legal counsel
- Design and further development of internal and external interface management
- Cooperation and support in patent law issues and tasks
- Further development of the patent and trademark portfolio in the direction of Industrie 4.0, IoT, AI
Your qualification:
- Successfully completed diploma or master's degree in computer science, automation technology, physics or a comparable subject
- Additional training in intellectual property in national, European and international patent law, ideally as a European and/or German patent attorney
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in industry
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- High degree of self-motivation and persuasiveness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Convincing and confident appearance as well as a very independent working style coupled with a high degree of assertiveness
- Negotiating skills in an international environment
