Head of Development Product Line Controls (m/f/d)

Your job:

• Disciplinary management of the product development of the Controls product line within the Electric Automation business unit
• Responsibility for the development of innovative, cost-efficient and high-quality network and control products at the development locations in Germany, Austria, Bulgaria and China
• Technical responsibility for the aforementioned product portfolio over the entire product life cycle - in particular for series products as well as for customer-specific solutions - in close coordination with product line management
• Ensuring the innovative design of the product portfolio by using the latest technologies in the areas of electronics, software & functional safety
• Realisation of the product portfolio in close, integrative cooperation with product management, operations, the project office and product line management
• Continuous further development of the development teams with regard to technical qualification and modern, efficient development methods and processes

Your qualification:

• Successfully completed technical degree, e.g. in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable degree
• Experience in managing executives in an international corporate environment, ideally in the area of product development
• Budget responsibility
• Several years of professional experience in the development of electronic systems with a high software content - from the product idea to series maturity
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken 
• Strongly developed methodological skills and the ability to strategically and systematically develop the product portfolio for which you are responsible
• Empathy, ability to deal with conflict and decision-making skills
• High level of assertiveness coupled with the ability to cooperate
• Passion for technical innovations combined with the ability to inspire
• Willingness to travel
