Head of Business Controlling Operations (m/f/d)

Your Job:

  • Responsible for the business controlling of the Operations division with the global production and logistics network with 24 units, purchasing and the central operations functions 
  • Supporting the business in achieving financial targets 
  • Global responsibility for the budget and forecast process of the Operations department
  • Managing the reporting process for Operations and tracking deviations between actual and target as well as forecast 
  • Creating transparency about business performance and preparing decision papers
  • Management and further development of the cross-national team 
  • Responsible for the evaluation of business cases and for the central review of investment applications from the plants according to uniform standards 
  • Collaboration and support of corporate projects and central projects in the Finance department 

 

Your qualification:

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in an operations environment, as well as in managing a team in a financial environment
  • Several years of extensive experience in coordinating projects and processes in an international network and intercultural cooperation 
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English
  • Very good SAP and process knowledge in the CO, FI, PP and MM modules
  • Very good knowledge of SAP BW, SAC and MS Office
  • Independent, analytical and goal-oriented way of working
  • High team and customer orientation, motivation and structured way of working
  • Willingness to travel internationally

 

Part of the selection process is an assessment centre.
