Electronics Developer Hardware
Job description:
- Development of innovative servo drive controllers for stepper and servo motors in close cooperation with colleagues in an international project team;
- Development of power and control electronics: Mosfet/IGBT output stages, position sensors, acquisition of analog variables, microcontrollers and FPGAs, fieldbus and other communication systems;
- Specification and concept creation for the hardware;
- Circuit development, EMC-compliant design, supervision of the CAD board layout;
- Determination of development costs, preparation of the preliminary calculation for the series product;
- Creating test plans for the prototypes, carrying out functional and qualification tests, creating development documentation;
- Specifying the required tests and test equipment for series production, coordinating the product launch with internal or external suppliers;
- Continuous documentation of development in ALM tools, e.g. Codebeamer;
- Monitoring ongoing developments in the semiconductor market;
- If necessary, collaboration in hardware-related firmware programming.
Requirements:
- University Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification;
- Several years of professional experience in the field of power electronics and their control;
- Several years of experience in embedded hardware development and especially in the field of servo drive technology;
- Good E-CAD knowledge (circuit diagrams, layout, EMC), preferably with Cadence Allegro;
- Experience in embedded FW development, especially in hardware-related firmware (HAL) is an advantage;
- Responsible team player with the ambition to follow developments in the electronics industry and to expand the know-how of the group;
- Fluent in English; German language skills an advantage.
