IT Product Owner OT Network (m/f/d)

Your job:

  • Technical management of the IT product team OT Network
  • Responsibility for the operation and optimization of the OT network in production worldwide
  • Development and implementation of a long-term strategy for the OT network
  • Ensuring defined service levels for the global operation of the OT network at the global Festo locations (WiFi, LAN, remote maintenance access, security)
  • Stakeholder management and company-wide cooperation, in particular with other IT and OT product teams and Festo companies in Germany and abroad
  • Identification and implementation of IT security measures in close cooperation with the Security Operation Center
  • Carrying out provider benchmarks and tenders in close cooperation with Purchasing and independently commissioning and managing external service providers
  • Analyzing the market and monitoring the competition to identify trends and opportunities
  • Professional development of employees through coaching and mentoring
     

Your qualification:

  • Successfully completed studies in communications engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as a product owner or in a comparable role in the field of OT networks and in the technical management of an international team
  • Good understanding of network architectures, protocols and security standards (IEC-62443)
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and production technology is an advantage
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear product requirements
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking, independent and goal-oriented action as well as a high level of initiative and implementation strength
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and enjoy working in international teams
