IT Database Architect (m/f/d)

Your job:

  • Consulting, design and conception of new database management systems on-premise and in the cloud
  • Planning and management of lifecycle measures for the database technologies for which the team is responsible, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, mySQL, mongoDB, InfluxDB
  • Creation and further development of database architectures, as well as backup and recovery concepts 
  • Monitoring, optimization and automation of the global database landscape
  • Development and implementation of IT security measures to ensure secure and resilient database operation

 

Your qualification:

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in consulting and designing database systems as well as good knowledge of infrastructure and platform solutions (Windows, RHEL)
  • Experience in scripting and automation using SQL, shell scripts and Powershell
  • Knowledge of archiving technologies is desirable
  • Experience with agile methods is an advantage (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Hands-on mentality, high level of initiative and enjoy working in an international team
