As Product Owner AI Platform, you will shape and prioritize a clear roadmap across AI‑driven and digital products that deliver real value for users and the business. You will work closely with technical and business teams on multiple initiatives to turn needs into practical solutions and continuously improve outcomes.

 

 

Your job 

  • Drive and own the strategic roadmap of Festo’s AI Virtual Assistant, balancing business impact with technical feasibility. 

  • Define and prioritize features that create measurable value for internal stakeholders and customers across the globe. 

  • Work closely with development teams to shape architecture, technical direction, and implementation plans. 

  • Lead the evolution of AI capabilities including agentic workflows, automation features, and next-generation Virtual Assistant experiences. 

  • Engage deeply with user groups and business units to understand needs, extract insights, and translate them into powerful platform functionality. 

  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data science to ensure robust, scalable, cloud-native delivery. 

  • Define and monitor product KPIs and metrics and drive continuous improvement to elevate the Virtual Assistant to the next performance level. 

 

Your profile 

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with a strong balance of business orientation and technical depth. 

  • Solid hands-on understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or similar), APIs, data flows, and modern software architectures. 

  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including LLMs, agentic frameworks, and workflow-orchestration capabilities. 

  • Ability to challenge engineering and influence architecture decisions while keeping user value and business outcomes at the center. 

  • Customer‑ and business‑oriented mindset, able to identify opportunities, drive adoption, and translate needs into product value. 

  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

  • A proactive mindset, passion for innovation, and drive to push AI products to industry-leading levels. 

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish and/or German is a plus.
