Your job:

  • Support the development of Driver Blocks for Siemens PCS7 systems under the guidance of a Senior Developer following the foureyes principle
  • Provide technical support for PCS7 systems by addressing customer and internal technical inquiries
  • Create, revise, and format technical documentation and application notes for FESTO products throughout the development lifecycle
  • Maintain Wikis, documentation repositories, and import trackers in CodeBeamer ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Collaborate with responsible internal departments to ensure technical and project alignment
  • Support continuous improvement of development processes, documentation quality, and knowledge sharing

 

Your qualification:

  • Completed degree in Mechatronics, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in automation, control systems, or a related engineering role
  • Familiarity with DCS and PLC programming, Siemens PCS7, IEC 61131-3 programming languages, industrial fieldbus protocols such as PROFINET and PROFIBUS, XML coding, and device description languages
  • Proficient written and spoken English communication skills
  • Proficiency with development and documentation tools including VS Code, Python as an asset, and structured technical documentation practices
