Team Leader Electric Motors
Your Job:
- Management and organization of a development team for electric motors and cables (low voltage and extra-low voltage) at the Sofia site;
- Planning and monitoring of development projects, including time planning, resource management and budget control;
- Global definition and implementation of development strategies to increase efficiency and improve the development quality (methods/processes/tools) of motor development;
- Collaboration with other departments such as product management, design, production and quality to ensure all requirements are met;
- Evaluate and optimize existing electric motor concepts and develop new technical solutions;
- Perform tests, analyses and evaluations to validate specification parameters and increase power density and reliability;
- Monitoring and compliance with quality standards and legal regulations of the global target markets in engine development and product maintenance;
- Coordinating the technical maintenance of existing series products, including various third-party products.
Professional Competencies and Requirements:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar field of study;
- Several years of experience in the development of electric motors;
- Knowledge about relevant legal regulation and norms for industrial electric motor applications (e.g. low voltage requirements);
- Several years of experience in leading teams;
- Sound knowledge of motor development, calculation and design of motors, performance optimization and material selection;
- Experience in the application of development and project management methods;
- Experience in the area of development methods (e.g. functional safety, systems engineering) and problem-solving processes;
- Good knowledge in the use of CAD software and other relevant development tools;
- Team-oriented leadership and coaching skills to further develop competencies;
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges;
- Communication and presentation skills;
- Very good knowledge of English.
