Software Developer Simulation Edge Control (Senior)

Your Job:

• Development of software products that supports virtual engineering and commissions of automation systems. 
• Collaboration with the product development, production and customer service team to realize requirements for Virtual Commissioning.
• Integration of value adding Virtual Commissioning methods and tools into engineering execution together with engineering excellence and engineering leaders.
• Implementation, integration, testing and deploying suitable software solutions for the digital customer journey.
• Working in an interdisciplinary, agile product team.
• Working with distributed multinational internal development teams.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Very Good knowledge of full-stack web development (e.g. Angular, JavaScript, Symfony, PHP, Git, Python, SQL) 
• Knowledge in C/C++ is a plus 
• Detailed understanding of SW development processes in industry 
• Experience in motion control solutions.
• Domain knowledge of Virtual Commissioning Technology 
• Experience with production simulation tools.
• Experience with usage of Application Lifecycle Management tools.
• Experience in the Industrial Automation area shall be considered as an advantage.
• Willingness to pursue a software engineering career in the automation industry.
