New Projects Buyer

Your job:

• Acts as a link between Purchasing Department and the R&D Department in the process of product development (from the concept phase till the implementation of the new product in mass production).
• Responsible for the management, organization and coordination of purchasing process for the new products. Actively communicates and collaborates with all involved parties.
• Defines potential suppliers.
• Responsible for final supplier selection and price negotiations. 
• Monitors target costs for all new parts.
• Takes part in commitment workshops.
• Responsible for coordination of sampling process.
• Responsible for ordering tools.
• Responsible for ordering trial series, pilot series and initial stock.
• Summarizes and maintains the status of all new parts.
• Identifies and addresses vendor lead-time and quality issues before the start of serial production.
• Organizes and controls technical and logistics claims of deliveries in close cooperation with Quality and Logistics Departments.
• Actively participates in developing strong and productive relationship with suppliers. Participates in audits and supplier development plans.
• Development of effective solutions to supply chain problems.
• Involved and actively participates in costs and materials optimizations.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree –  technical field;
• Excellent written and spoken English (level C1); German will be considered as an advantage;
• Advanced user of MS Office;
• SAP experience will be considered as an advantage.

Professional Competencies and Requirements:

• At least 2 years of proven work experience on the same or similar position;
• Proven professional experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural team and environment;
• Professional experience in production company will be considered as an advantage;

• Capable of making fast decisions and taking responsibility for the results in dynamic and changing environment;

• Focused on the added value for the internal and/or external clients;
