With reference to our growing Technical Engineering Center Sofia (TEC Sofia) currently we are looking for:

Mechanical Design Engineer (Fluid Sensors)

Main tasks and responsibilities:

•    Design and development of mechanical components for pressure and flow rate sensors in respect to product requirements and standards. Create and maintain these projects/products in Festo repositories over the whole product-life-cycle;
•    Cooperation for the implementation of new products and product care in the serial production process. 
•    Actively drive and participate in the continuous improvement of the designed products in terms of Cost, Quality and Delivery (Product Care);
•    Working in an interdisciplinary, agile project team being responsible for the whole mechanics engineering, implementing and maintaining design guidelines and constraints;
•    Coordination and integration of internal and external development partners and suppliers;
•    Creating technical research and feasibility studies on new solutions. Executing and evaluation of basic functional tests to validate design concepts;
•    Continuously enhance and seek out methods and tools and actively acquire new knowledge.

Required abilities:

•    Master in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or comparable with relevant experience;
•    Good command of 3D CAD systems (preferably CREO); Expertise in SAP as well as Windchill is a plus;
•    Knowledge in tolerance analyses and GD&T is beneficial;
•    Proficient German or English is a must; Second language will be considered as advantage;
•    Communication and team skills, as well as an independent, structured, and target-oriented approach to work;
•    Someone with a pro-active attitude, motivated in developing and implementing new ideas.
