Mechanical Design Engineer (Development Position Sensors and cables)

With reference to our growing New Products Development Department of Technological and Engineering Center Sofia (TEC Sofia) currently we are looking for: 

Mechanical Design Engineer (Development Position Sensors and cables)

Main tasks and responsibilities:
•    Design and development of connecting cables and connectors in respect to product requirements and standards. Creating and maintain of technical documentation for new and existing products over the whole product life cycle.
•    Cooperation for the implementation of new products and product care in the serial production process. 
•    Actively drive and participate in the continuous improvement of the designed products in terms of Cost, Quality and Delivery (Product Care).
•    Working in an interdisciplinary, agile project international team being responsible for the whole mechanics engineering, implementing, and maintaining design guidelines and constraints.
•    Coordination and integration of internal and external development partners and suppliers.
•    Creating technical research and feasibility studies on new solutions. Executing and evaluation of basic functional tests to validate design concepts.
•    Continuously enhance and seek out methods and tools and actively acquire new knowledge.

Required abilities:

•    Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or comparable with relevant experience.
•    Good command of 3D CAD systems (preferably CREO); Expertise in SAP as well as Windchill is a plus.
•    Knowledge in tolerance analyses and GD&T is beneficial.
•    Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as a strong advantage.
•    Communication and team skills, as well as an independent, structured, and target-oriented approach to work.
•    Someone with a pro-active attitude, motivated in developing and implementing new ideas.
