Head of Electric Automation Testing

Your job:

• Be part of a growing team that is shaping the future of electric automation industry. With products and solutions, we inspire our customers in industrial automation technology and rely on the latest technologies and modern development methodologies.
• The products you will be working on are used in a wide variety of industries and machines such as robots, packaging, assembly, testing, and process machines.
• Responsibility for the validation and verification of products and systems for electrical automation technology.
• Working in an interdisciplinary, international, and agile product team, technically and disciplinary responsible for the new formed testing team (EA testing- electric automation) in TEC Bulgaria with technical assignment to the Electric Automation business unit in Germany.
• You will have a main role in the development and coaching of the directly assigned employees.
• Supporting and collaborating with the test manager regarding resource and project planning.
• Creating strategy, further development of the team and setting targets in cooperation with the “Domain” testing leaders in Germany.
• Developing and implementing measures to optimize workflows, processes and test infrastructure and having focus on increasing the test automation level.
• Developing and establishing standards.
• Encouraging the international cooperation and collaboration within the global EA testing team.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• Education: University degree.
• Specialty: Automation, Software engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage.

Professional Competencies and Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
• Good technical knowledge in Hardware and Software. Technical know-how in PLCs, Remote I/O modules and Fieldbus protocols will be advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical automation will be advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured way of working and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• High level of problem-solving skills, goal orientation and assertiveness.
