Hardware Design Engineer (LifeTech Products)

Your job:

• Development of hardware for embedded systems, which are used in the medical technology and laboratory automation industries.
• Design and analysis of digital and analog circuits with hardware verification.
• Advanced Schematic design, PCB Layout through production for prototype devices.
• Development of internal component testing (e.g. NI LabVIEW based). Assure a high standard of quality in your own work and in the work of others on your team via good electrical practices, process improvements, clean designs, smart testing and review practices.
• Work with cross disciplinary teams of mechanical, electrical, software, biomedical and testing engineers.
• Interact with a global engineering team Germany, USA, and Bulgaria.
• Troubleshoot and debug products in production and service as required.
• Perform documentation, unit test plans, and quality analysis.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Physics with focus on embedded systems;
• Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as an strong advantage;
• Very good command of MS Office;
• Experience with SAP and Windchill will be considered as an advantage.

Professional Competencies and Requirements:

• Proven practical experience in Schematic and PCB Design at least 3 years;
• Experience in production environment will be considered as a serious advantage;
• Knowledge of common industrial Ethernet interfaces would be beneficial;
• Good knowledge in control systems engineering and analog electronics;
• Experience with Cadence Allegro will be considered as a strong advantage;
• Experience with serial communication interfaces (CAN, SPI, RS232, Ethernet, USB, etc.).
