With reference to our growing LifeTech activities for laboratory automation and the establishment of the Technological and Engineering Center Sofia (TEC Sofia) currently we are looking for 

Embedded Software Engineer for LifeTech
 

Your job:

• Develop, maintain, and test embedded software which is used in novel and innovative LifeTech products for Lab Automation
• Creation of technical specifications for new features in close cooperation with product management and colleagues
• Deliver detailed software components design
• Review and document the code, utilizing peer-review tools
• Supporting projects during the integration/application of your software
• Support qualification as well as certification of the products

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT / IT Engineering, Electronics, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as an advantage

Professional Competencies and Requirements:

• Proven expertise and practical experience in design of embedded systems with a solid background in real-time systems
• Excellent coding skills in C / C++ and programming experience
• Solid experience with RTOS and real time analysis
• Good know-how of embedded hardware (ARM development boards, Single-Board Computers)
• Good knowledge in CI/CD toolchains with Jenkins and Artefact-repositories as well as ALM tools
• Previous experience in cyber security is an advantage
• Experience with motor control and control loop design is a plus
