Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Linux)

Your Job: 

• Development of a new generation of industrial automation controllers (PLCs) in Embedded Linux;
• Participating in team doing the System-Design and Software-Architecture process and development;
• Implementation, integration, testing and deploying the software by following state-of-the-art DevOps principles; 
• Working in an interdisciplinary, agile product team; 
• Continuously enhance and improve methods and tools and actively acquire new knowledge;
• Contribution to production testing software (EOL).  
   

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar 
• Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as an advantage; 
• Professional Competencies and Requirements: 
• Embedded C/C++ experience 
• Experience in Linux application development, kernel driver know-how is an advantage; 
• Network communication stack knowledge is an advantage;
• Experience in the Automation area is an advantage;
