Electronic engineer, maintenance of test equipment

Job description:

• Maintains and improves test procedures and equipment – hardware and software, ensuring fast, sustainable, and quality work of test equipment.
• Organizes effective preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Performs repairs of the equipment according to the set standards and priorities.
• Organizes periodic inspections.
• Participates in maintaining the information database regarding the machines and equipment entrusted to him.
• Performs a rapid change in the test procedures and installations in case of inconsistencies with the quality requirements, in accordance with the accepted norms in Festo Production.
• Prepares and maintains maintenance and repair plans.
• Participates in the technical acceptance of new machines and equipment.
• Provides the necessary qualification and training to operators, in accordance with the requirements for exploitation of the equipment.
• Completes and maintains up-to-date technical documentation of all existing test equipment.
• Participates in the process of reconstruction and improvement of test equipment.
• Improves and assists in improving of constructions in order to increase the efficiency of the test equipment in the company.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• High education – Electronics is an advantage.
• Knowledge of written and spoken English/ German (level B1).

Professional Knowledge and Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with PLC, CODESYS, LabView, Test Stand will be considered as an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge in the field of measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
• Handling technical documentation (diagrams, technical descriptions and instructions for operation and adjustment of machines and electronic blocks).
