Application Environmental Test Engineer

Your job:

•    The products you will be working on are used in a wide variety of industries and machines such as robots, packaging, assembly, testing, and process machines.
•    Taking part in workshops, trainings and know how exchange with the colleagues worldwide.
•    Working in an interdisciplinary, international, and agile product team providing technical designation on-time for the IT test environment (hardware, software, network, configurations, tools, services, databases, ...) and the test data. Also providing system configuration and operation, e.g. version management, deployment, environment configuration.
•    Using different tools- test execution tools and test data editors and generators, requirements managements tools, test cases, test procedures and tools used for analysis and evaluation.
•    Supporting and optimizing existing test tools- Static analysis tools, test execution and logging, performance measurement and dynamic analysis performance and special test requirements tools.
•    Developing technical research and feasibility studies and new test solutions.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:
•    Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software engineering, Automation, Mechatronics etc. 
•    Excellent written and spoken English.

Professional Competencies and Requirements:
•    Experience in data modeling and data management as well as data manipulation languages, e.g. SQL / PL-SQL.
•    Experience in programming/scripting languages, databases and system architectures  
•    Experience in build and configuration management, especially for the 'System under Test' (SuT) (> 3 years) –is considered as an advantage.
•    Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL). Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) is an advantage.
